The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of a button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your home gets a proper look.
This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves on.
What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. mopping robot vacuum cleaner was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.
The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a specific route.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. While these features are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category which could make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
